Every person is unique, which means that our time together would be tailored to your particular needs based on cultural background, family dynamics and personal values.
I am a Licensed psychotherapist and I have over 15 years of experience in clinical and professional counseling with adults, adolescents and children in private practice, community mental health and hospital settings. My counseling style is warm and compassionate, emphasizing the importance of providing a safe, strength-based, and non-judgmental space. I combine my therapeutic techniques with a holistic approach.
I use evidence-based practices and psychotherapy treatments with strong research foundations, to include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). That means we work together to change those negative thoughts that keep my clients stuck in a path of anxiety and depression. I also promote active changes in behaviors such as good eating and sleeping habits, and a strong support network.
